Article Processing Charges
Literature, Culture and Society (LCS) is committed to maintaining complete transparency regarding its publication policies, including any fees associated with the publication process.
Depending on the publisher's policy, the journal may operate under either a No Article Processing Charge (No APC) model or an Article Processing Charge (APC) model. Authors are informed of the applicable publication policy before the editorial process begins.
Under the No APC model, authors are not required to pay any fees for manuscript submission, editorial assessment, peer review, or publication. This approach promotes equal opportunities for researchers regardless of their institutional affiliation or financial resources.
Where an APC policy is in place, publication fees support editorial management, peer review, copyediting, production, online hosting, long-term preservation, and dissemination of published articles. Payment of publication fees has no influence on editorial or peer-review decisions.
